Directions & Parking
Driving directions are available HERE. Ample FREE parking is available in front of the 6100 building. You may use visitor spots or any other open spot that isn’t reserved for another business.
Take the elevator to the 4thfloor & follow the sign for Suite 450 to the right. The most direct entrance to the conference room is the very last door on the right at the end of the hall, past the stairwell. Look for a sign with the “Prepare for SUCCESS” logo on the door.
Please allow adequate time for Atlanta's rush hour traffic on weekday mornings, so that you arrive on time. Registration/check-in is from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. and the seminar begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
For those who are coming from outside the Atlanta area, there are a variety of hotel accommodations within 2 miles of the training location. Many are close to Perimeter Mall and several offer free shuttle services. Atlanta Center for Wellness recommends that you use a hotel/travel search site and enter the location. Here’s a link to a search we conducted via Trivago.
All options at this link are within 2 miles of the training location and under $200/night.
Prior Exam Attempts
If you have previously taken the exam for which you are currently preparing, and have the exam diagnostic report that was provided when you left the exam center, please bring a copy of the report(s) with you for review or email the report(s) to email@example.com prior to the workshop. We may be able to identify additional resources to support your future success.
What to Bring
PLEASE bring one or two texts if you have them (i.e., human behavior, DSM, social work practice, ethics, theories of intervention) OR other exam prep materials you have acquired that you think may prove helpful to your exam preparations. We may use these as references as we engage in activities during the seminar. IF you do not have any old texts, do NOT go buy anything in advance of the seminar! We will have some materials available.
In addition, you should bring pen/pencil, paper for notes and highlighters (if desired).
What to Wear
Casual, comfortable attire is the ticket! We recommend you dress in layers.
A receipt for your registration fee will be provided at the seminar upon request.
Certificate of Completion
You will receive a certificate that documents CE hours, upon completion of the seminar. If you attend the entire seminar, you will receive 12 core hours. Hours will be pro-rated, as needed, to reflect your actual attendance.
